With 27 years chefing under his belt, Spanish born Javier Carmona heads up the Inti kitchen. At Inti, Chef Javier finds a permanent home following his successful pop-up, “Etxeberria”, which served contemporary Hispanic and Mexican cuisine in Avondale.
No stranger to culinary success, Javier was previously Executive Chef for the Mouthful Group, looking after Mexico, Orleans and Beirut restaurants. He was nominated for Best Chef and Best New Restaurant category at the Metro Magazine 2016 awards, as well as taking Beirut to Cuisine’s Good Food Awards.
Javier brings his ambition and passion for Hispanic flavours to Inti, creating a unique culinary journey for Auckland locals to experience.
